Outstanding pants

I bought a second pair as I could not believe the price. I have used these for years above the tree line in early/late season, early winter conditions. Outstanding performance and comfort. The top and bottom opening side zips are great for cooling in lower elevations and in camp.

Excellent Rain Gear!

I purchased the SV2 pants and jacket about 6 years ago. I work in golf maintenance in Savannah, GA. During the spring and summer thunderstorms would pop up 3 times a week. I kept this suit in my cart tool box and it has saved me from having a miserable afternoon on many occasions. The pants and jacket are ideal for geographic locations that are subject to cool temps in the morning hours and then warm in the afternoon. On many occasions I would wear shorts and a polo style golf shirt and then slip on the Rocket SV2 pants and jacket over it. As the temperatures climbed throughout the day, I would shed the jacket and eventually by lunch I would be out of the SV2 pants, leaving my original shorts and polo shirt to get me comfortably through the remainder of the afternoon. This, while half of my coworkers would be freezing cold in the morning and comfortable an afternoon or vice versa, comfortable in the morning and burning up in the afternoon. I chose the Rocky SV2 route and was comfortable all day. As I previously mentioned I have been wearing this outfit for 6 years. The waterproofing is as stellar today is it was the day I purchased it and not a single rip or tear. I would also like to point out, as far as looks, the pictures on this website do not do this garment justice. It's well made and it looks very high end. It also fits and it continues to fit even after being rained on all morning. It's a sharp looking suit, no doubt! I have the green SV2 Pants and the Black SV2 matching jacket. I was actually here to purchase another SV2 jacket and pants just so I would have color options and it would also give the ability to lend a hand to an ill-prepared coworker. Because, in my experience, a cold worker is a distracted worker. A distracted worker is unproductive and unsafe.

I sized up and they are still tight around the toes but other than that they fit fine. If the toes don't break down quickly though i may have to return them.
