Hartz Hedgehog Dog Toy- 9pc Pdq

i got this once because my dog loves the flavor of my fur mittens, so i got her a hartz hedgehog because the texture feels like my mittens,  and since her first chew, she could not put this thing down. i have gone through 5 hedgehogs in the last year, she literally cuddles with this thing, they do break easily, but the reason i have to keep buying them is because if she doesn't have her hedgehog, she will whine until i run down to the store to get one. i would suggest this to medium dogs with not so strong teeth, because if she didn't have such strong teeth, she would still have her first original hedgehog pros: dogs addicted cons:not that durable for strong dogs 

My dog was playing with the hedgehog while I was cooking dinner. She was right at my feet, tossing it etc . I suddenly heard a choking sound. She had a clear plastic bag in her mouth with what looked like a small plastic flexible hose in side of it. It was partly in her throat. I was able to pull it out and discovered it had come from a small hole my dog had put into the hedgehog. I have no idea why it was in there to begin with. I thought perhaps it was to make it squeak but that toy never made a sound. I am grateful l I did not lose my dog that night or that my grandchildren had not gotten ahold of the item.
