This hot cocoa is very good. The cinnamon taste comes through, but is not overwhelming. I made it with whole milk which made it very creamy. It is not an instant out of the package cocoa, but if you are willing to stir the tablets in the milk you will enjoy the results.

I love my Abuelita cocoa during the holidays! I buy the cake form. It is a little more work to cut the little cake. but that contributes to the special joy of the holiday season in my opinion. I make gift bags of Christmas goodies to give my family. and I always include Abuelita cocoa. (As a little girl I used to sneak a piece and eat it like candy!)

I use this chocolate to make our traditional hot chocolate. (I mix it with other brands) La Abuelita has husks - The cocoa beans are grinded with their peel still, it shows after melting it, but the chocolate has a great taste. It's disappointing to see that it has double on price... it used to be quite affordable ( $2.39) today is $5.98 :( :(
