Time will tell
After following the instructions exactly, I found that this product does not adhere well to new galvanized surfaces. After sanding or etching the surface, though, I found that the adhesion was quite good. I believe that the TDS should be updated to show that removing the protective surface on smooth galvanized metal will improve adhesion.
Disintegrated less than 1 year
I would give this product a 0 star if I can, that is how upset I am with this sealant. I bought this sealant to fix the flashing on the roof beam about the middle of December 2017. After the several rain storm in early December 2018, I went up to the roof to check the condition of the roof. To my surprise the area where I apply the sealant had crumbled into chuck (looks like the dry river bed crack, if you can imaging how that look). Of course the water seeped through the flashing. This sealant is suppose for exterior use and it failed miserably. I have used DAP for house repair in the past, but now I am looking at different brand.

Too thick to effectually use
Bought this tube in Spring 2018 but only now (Nov. 2018) using it to fix leaks in the heavy duty gutters for the screen room. First of all it was so thick that it was very difficult to squeeze from the tube - I cut the tip larger than what I thought needed and went back and punctured the nozzle 'seal' several times to open it up further. Secondly, again it was so thick - possibly dried out in the 6 months since purchase, but hope it had a shelf life of longer than that - that it was extremely difficult to stick to the gutter (heavy duty aluminum) even when I spread it with my finger (stuck to my finger really well!). I have used gutter sealant (I'm not sure if it was DAP or another brand) in the past but I certainly do not recall it being this difficult to extract from the tube nor spread. Either this was a bad batch (possibly lot #11726323:53 printed on the tube) or if it has a short shelf life, or I guess this is the natural consistency of this DAP product; I don't know.
