This stuff works miracles! It can save your night if you are congested! Whenever my oldest child gets a runny nose, they drive everybody in the house crazy, sniffling non-stop and coming into our bedroom half a dozen times at night to miserably declare that they can't sleep. After dealing with this for years, it one day occurred to me to see if Afrin was available for older kids. My bottle came the next evening, I promptly administered 2 squirts to each of my child's nostrils, and within SECONDS they had stopped sniffling. For the first night all week, everybody slept! I will be keeping this on hand for colds from now on.

I have used Afrin (regular and moisturizing) products. If you have SEVERE blockage; Afrin is what you want. It's INSTANT congestion relief. If you need to use it for several days and/or have sensitive nasal passages, I suggest that you get the Moisturing product; otherwise, you may suffer a very slight nose bleed. Be sure to follow the instructions and not use long term or more frequently than suggested. If any happens to run down the back of your throat - drink some water.

I suffer from nasal congestion alot during the summer months. 3 squirts of this up each nostril and within literally one minute, i can breathe again! But, be careful!! Addiction to the medicine in it (Oxymetazoline) is very real. I highly reccomend doing your research before using any kind of OTC medications.
