Non Removable Battery, Beware NOT Exact Same Model

I'm sure for those of you here to buy this AMAZING vacuum, you are here to buy the one that's been recommended by everyone (like Youtube and blogs). This is NOT the same exact model as the Shark Vertex Pro that you've been hearing about. You're looking for model number IZ662H. The functionality of this one (IZ640H) is the same as the IZ662H (and the IZ682H which is a different color with two batteries), and is just as amazing. However, the differences are that 1. the IZ640H's battery is NOT removable, so eventually, when the battery dies or doesn't hold much charge, you cannot change the battery out. And 2. the attachments that are included with this are different. It includes two basic attachments, whereas the IZ662H includes 3 (which two are also different than the two basic ones from the IZ640H). At the time of writing this review, this is about $40 less than the IZ662H's model (the one with the removeable battery and three attachments). A replacement battery for IZ662H costs about $80 from Shark, but cannot be used on the IZ640H. So just be aware of these differences. I'm pretty upset I bought the wrong one. Ha~

Regret returning this vacuum

I loved this vacuum, but when the Dyson V10 Absolute I thought I wanted went on sale, I returned the Shark. I totally regret it! The canister is easier to empty. I like that it has a light to see dust on the ground better. The battery life was longer. It doesn't have as many accessories, but this is by far the better value.

The Shark Vertex Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum is seriously impressive. It's super light but cleans like a full-size vacuum, gliding smoothly across carpets and hard floors without losing suction. I love the cordless freedom—it reaches every corner of the house without having to unplug and replug. The battery lasts longer than expected, and it's really easy to empty and clean. It even picks up pet hair with no trouble at all. Great power, quiet performance, and sleek design—this one's a keeper!
