Start with clean, towel-dried hair: Ensure that your hair is clean and gently towel-dried to remove excess moisture. It is important to avoid using the styler on dripping wet hair. 2. Apply a heat protectant: Before using any heat styling tool, it is recommended to apply a heat protectant spray or serum to protect your hair from heat damage. This will help minimize the risk of dryness and breakage. 3. Section your hair: Divide your hair into manageable sections using clips or hair ties. This will make it easier to style your hair evenly and ensure that all sections are properly dried and styled. 4. Begin styling: Take a section of hair and place the styler close to the roots. Gently glide the styler through the hair, moving it down towards the ends. Repeat this process for each section of hair, working your way around your head. 5. Adjust the settings: The Revlon One-Step Volumiser Plus RVDR5298E styler may have different heat and speed settings. Adjust these settings according to your hair type and desired style. It's worth it!
I have the older version of this Revlon dryer. I did my research, studied the more expensive brands, and came back to this upgraded version of the one I have now. I've had my older one for a couple of years now. It is missing some bristles and starting to short out on me from time to time. I read the reviews on this newer version and decided to bite the bullet. I'm so glad I did. My favorite feature of all is the medium heat as it is a game-changer! The original version got so hot it would burn my hand if I touched the barrel accidentally. The only con I have about this newer version is, where the controls are, is where I put my other hand and I am constantly changing the setting. I will train myself to do better as it is worth it. I thought I would miss the bigger barrel, but I don't. I have fine, longer than shoulder length hair.
