The tapered handle make it much to hold and work with. it has an additional heat set setting of medium. It is much lighter than my larger Revlon hot air brush and its handle was wider and not as tapered. My hair is a little shorter now r and I needed a smaller brush

Product packaging was extremely questionable. Nothing sealed the box and it was evident the box had been opened before, though it didn't look like the product was used extensively. Lots of bristles on the brush were bent at odd angles, etc. Insufficient cushioning within the product package itself; no amount of external padding can save you when the AC-DC power converter on the plug is smacking around inside like a wrecking ball.
