Better than the old one

It works great. The old model was made of aluminum and would leave black smudge all over if you put it once in the dishwasher. This one is made of stainless steel and is a much better quality.

Black Hands

I bought my second stand mixer after having one for close to 20 years and was happy with it except for the whip, even if you hand wash it, it corrodes and leaves a black residue on your hands, which is not good when baking or for anything for that matter. You should have included the dishwasher-safe whip by now. These things cost a lot of money; I don't have time to scrub my hands whenever I touch the whip. I would think that you would leave the crap out!! I love the stand mixer, just not the cheap whip.

Leaks Gray

Purchased the Kitchenaid that included this whip for my wife's birthday and this accessory has been shedding this gray residue since it was brand new, staining hands and foods all the time.
