The Link2Cell feature lets you Bluetooth-pair with up to 2 cell phones to make and receive mobile calls anywhere in the home place your cell where signal is optimum and through the handset. This phone is exceptionally easy to find, even in low light, with an illuminated keypad (1.8 inch Monochrome Full Dot Display on handset). Automated Block helps keeps you free from spam calls, with the extra protection of prompting the caller for an access , and disconnecting any spam calls automatically. A 1-touch Block Button lets you block numbers easily by simply pressing a button on the handset. Bilingual Talking Caller ID lets you see and hear who's calling before you answer the (in English or Spanish). If you need to go hands-free, this phone can be used as a full duplex speakerphone or set up as a home intercom system or baby monitor, giving you the freedom to keep an eye on baby and communicate with your family while you're focused on work or making dinner. Use the speed dial function for 1-touch access to your most-dialed numbers. With long battery life, this phone lets you enjoy up to 10 hours of talk time and 5 days of standby time. Works with cell phone to make getting calls easier
I use it for the Link2Cell feature. No landline. Seems to work well, and the Bluetooth stays connected 24/7 so far. Clear sound. Note that the cell phone takes the message; The Panasonic base does NOT take cell phone messages. Base is disabled when using it with a cell phone. I recommend turning on "Cell Line Only Mode" if you do not have a landline (simplifies the system). Set your cell phone to 80% recharge to maximize battery life, too. You can adjust ringer volumes on the handsets (or turn off completely) in the Bluetooth menu, so your house does not have so many phones ringing at once.
