This is the third Reese Tongue Hitch Lock of this style I have bought. We have them on our camper, our cargo trailer and now our new flat bed trailer. Our first one was purchased in 2008 the second in 2019 and now the third one. The 17 yr old and the 6 yr old locks still work great! Never had any problems with any of them. I recommend them!

Best trailer hitch lock around
I have purchased four of these locks. They work on 1 7/8", 2" and 2 5/16" hitches. Unlike other trailer locks when these are installed they completely enclose the hitch and have a ball that goes up into the hitch making it impossible to remove without unlocking or completely cutting the lock to pieces. This would take so much time to do that most crooks wouldn't bother. Others locks have wraparound bar hasps that are quick and easy to cut with a grinder or torch. The only drawback is that it seems all of these locks are keyed alike. If so, a serious crook could get a key and be able to unlock them all. Ken
