its advertised as unlocked but its not it was locked to at%26t now im stuck trying to get it unlocked and this was a gift for my mother.. such a headache

I have bought refurbished phones before and have had great experiences and have been so impressed. The phone I got should not have been classified in good shape in general, but there was a huge problem with all sounds and notifications. It started just sounding as if someone "blew a speaker." Terrible and tinny. This was even the ringer and everything. Then trying to see if it was a volume issue, no matter what I had it set on some times some notifications or rings were loud (but not actually loud and sounded terrible) and 3 seconds later the same tone would be like a whisper. It's completely unreliable. Anything that used the speakers did this. Videos sounded scratchy, and as if I was listening thru a tin can blocks away. To top it off, I used affirm to pay in incriments since I didn't plan on having to buy a new phone. There are charges to use this, I was completely fine with this because of the convenience of not having to pay it all up front. But now, because this company did not sell me what was advertised and was terrible quality, I still have to pay those charges despite getting a refund. I get , I get it, I know what I signed up for. But it is disappointing that I was willing to try out this payment option because this company was supposed to be reliable and have quality products. So thanks to that not being true I have to pay this charge on top of having to find a different phone. Walmart is unwilling to take accountability for that. Definitely let down as a long-time loyal customer and walmart plus member. Lesson learned, do not take risks when involving the reliability of products sold here.
