We had a more expensive reverse osmosis installed. The water tastes better, but I was more dehydrated drinking it, and needed water with more minerals. Also, it was $100 per year to replace the filter, and then another $100 to replace the membrane every three years. Since we already had a spigot installed, I bought the Culligan system. The water tastes very good, much better than the tap water. It's not the same as RO, but it is good. Also, the big bonus was a filter that is less than $10, replaced every six months. Much cheaper!

Great filter. I have used these for some time now, and they really make a difference in the water quality for drinking and cooking. I will definitely be buying more when I need them. (tip - write the installation date on the side, so you know when its time to replace)
