Did not start out of the box

Does not work out of the box. Bought it before winter and just finding out in spring it does not start. Will take apart to fix since I think I know the issue.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. Here are a few suggestions to check and try: 1) Make sure you the proper extension cord is being used. Please use the owner’s manual to confirm the correct gauge for length requirements. 2) You are using a working outlet. 3) When starting the lawnmower, start by pressing and holding the start button down for ~3 seconds then while still holding the start button down, pull back the bail lever towards the handle with your opposite hand. Once the unit has started, you can release the start button and simply hold back the bail for continued operation. If you have exhausted all troubleshooting steps and the problem persists, contact us through Live Chat on Greenworks Tools website or call 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). So, our experts can discuss your experience; please have your mower with you along with the model and serial number to complete troubleshooting to ensure a quick resolution is provided.
