Brother ImageCenter™ ADS2800W Wireless Color Desktop Document Scanner

Scanning used to be a difficult task for us. This scanner takes large stack (approx 100 pages) of mixed legal and letter sized paper and quickly processes job. A misfeed occurs rarely, I'd say 1 in 200 jobs. We didnt think we could be more happy with this purchase but then our cat sat on feed tray recently and tipped himself and scanner off counter to carpeted foyer eight feet below. We were sure we'd be buying another scanner, but so far on approx 20 jobs we have discovered no issues. An all around excellent product worth its price.

I have been using Brother peripherals for almost three decades and the ADS2800W does not disappoint. It works flawlessly on the my network. The Linux network drivers and install procedures worked first try. I was able to configure the scan-to-email,FTP and scan to-folder features. Users can have scans delivered to their handheld device via e-mail using the internal address book. I was impressed with Brother's web configuration of the scanner. It is clearly evident that the engineers/designers are familiar with the struggles of IT support personnel that have to support these devices. The ADS2800W has built-in testing routines that allow testing of the e-mail, FTP and scan-to-folder settings without scanning a page to test. If the test fails, it will provide clues as to why it failed. This is awesome! The paper handling is excellent and very fast. The ADS2800W is an outstanding product and I will be recommending it for use in our enterprise environment.
