Solid Construction

I have an older similar model Schlage lever handle lock on a door near this new one I just installed. This new one has a slightly thicker handle and "feels better" and is a bit quieter when operating the handle. It also has the "auto-unlock" feature (which operates when the handle is operated on the inside) that I really like which helps prevent being locked out if my keys are still inside. Some reviews I read caused me to wonder about the durability of this new construction. Time will tell, but it seems well made to me.

We can open the door now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a lock in the door of my music studio, and small children were having trouble opening the round doorknob. It's much easier with the lever, and I got bright brass to match my old-fashioned door bell.
