A Pleasant Surprise

P-mounts are getting harder to find so I took a chance on this one and its actually a great cartridge. While most (comparable in price) that you find nowadays are 0.6 mil conical tipped where this one is elliptical 0.3 x 0.7 mil. In other words, this stylus/needle will travel deeper in the groove and bring out the highs and expose more detail. I picked up an old Realistic Lab 2100 and bought this just to see how well the table worked. What a surprise! As good as this sounds new I can't wait to see how well it sounds after breaking it in. I think it sounds as good as my 1/2 mount Nagaoka MP-110 but well below my Goldring E3. JMO though. I can't understand why another complained that the P-mount adapter wasn't included. The cartridge itself is a P-mount and I think they meant to say P-mount to 1/2" mount wasn't included. Its not supposed to be included.
