Luxurious shower column

This bar used to be included as part of the Tenet collection, which was a top tier Pfister set at one time. My wife is a professional product reviewer, and she's received faucets from just about every brand named manufacturer. Consequently, I know a ton about Pfister and their different models, just by helping her research over the years. However, we actually purchased this shower column, which says a lot, as we can typically get stuff like this at no cost. I wanted this particular column because the valve control is not built into the column, but into the actual wand - meaning to shift between rainfall or wand, you press the button on the wand, instead of turning a lever on the column. I think this feature is much more intuitive for guests, and also gives you more control when toggling between modes. We have the single function round modern wand attached to this column, which has one button (off/on). A lot of people don't realize this, but a shower column requires no extra plumbing, it's simply just a really fancy shower head. You will need a level surface for mounting, so you pretty much have to have a tiled shower. You will also need to drill a hole into your tile to mount the bottom brackets. This shower looks absolutely amazing, it's a statement piece for my son's bathroom. I've compared this to the other 5 or 6 shower columns my wife has received over the years, and this is by far the heaviest, nicest and best made column. It's also the only one where you can use the wand to toggle between shower modes. I'm tempted to try the modern multi-function hand shower, as it features a pause button on the back, and swap out my wand for it.
