H.R. is Great!!

i first tried this game by downloading the demo on my ps3 and right away i loved it. so i got the actual game for my bday and i can't stop playing it. it does start a little slow like the other reviews mention but oh boy does it turn into a intense horror mystery story. i always say that they should turn this game into a movie, i totally fell in love. i'm always going back and changing up the characters actions to see the different story lines it gives. it is rated "m" for a reason just so you know but overall i LOVE this game!!

Its just like a crime drama

I wont go into detail with the story with the game, to avoid spoilers. The game is very beautiful visually, to the point where its almost like a interactive movie. In the game itself, like the description says, you play as four people through out the game. A Private eye, a fbi agent, a journalist, and a father of one of the sons taken by the origami killer. Personally all I can really say is try it and you'll love it. I highly recomend it.

different

This game is....different. If anything, it's more an interactive movie than a game. The controls are hard to explain. There is no mapping to each button, "X" isn't jump, "O" isn't melee etc. The controls are based off of the world around your character. for example: your in the kitchen. "X" will be shown above the fruit bowl, (meaning you can grab a fruit by pressing that button), and arrow to the right will be above the chair (meaning by moving the analog stick to the right your character will sit in the char), and so on. Sounds confusing, and it does take some getting used to. However once you do get used to it, it almost seems like instinct. The game starts out semi slow. The beginning works as both an extended tutorial (since the getting a handle on the controls takes time), and a prologue of character development. Once the story gets going, it never stops. It has twists I wasn't expecting, story elements that were amazing, and the characterization is outstanding. No other game comes close. and it only gets better when you realize every choice you make bends the events that follow. There are 4 main characters, and depending on your choices any or all of them may die. If they do, the story continues on without them. It's very interesting The game does have a slow start, and the visuals range from astounding to terrible, but you will get so wrapped up in the story it won't matter. Definately one of the better games in a long time. P.S. this game is rated M for Mature for very good reasons.
