I like the compactness ,they work fine and do not leave creases . I was hesitant to buy after reading reviews about hard to get the roller off of its base. I bought because I wanted to decrease space on the vanity,I will add I do not have any trouble with the ease of removing the hot rollers from the unit. They are easy to use and heat up quickly.

Works as described! IMPORTANT PROPER USE: Hold by the clip handles( while attached to rollers) and SLOWLY SLIDE CLIP AND ROLLER TOGETHER UP AND OUT. DO NOT GRAB ROLLER ENDS, can burn fingers and damage rollers. One trick to prevent handling too hot is to slide out 2 or 3 at a time so they won't burn your scalp, you can also just unplug the unit if you want slightly cooler rollers. For lasting results remove rollers from hair AFTER they cool. Rollers may feel hot on scalp if thinner hair. Put unit away after everything has cooled. I have chin-length medium thick hair and these sizes are right for me and with some mouse or thickening conditioner they give me waves and a bit of body. My waves last a couple of days in high humidity climate, a bit longer in drier air. Longer or thicker hair may need a larger set. I like this system of having clips and rollers together. One wish would be same system with slighly larger diameter rollers for looser waves!
