Meclizine is an antihistamine. It works to block the signals to the brain that cause nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Meclizine is most commonly used to prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, and dizziness from motion sickness. It’s available in both prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) forms and comes in a chewable tablet or tablet that you swallow.

I was taking Meclizine by prescription then the cast of them went through the roof, I need them for my balance I lost the hearing in my right ear due to an Acoustic Neoroma I had removed in 1990. I checked my dosage and found out that the pills had it and I have been taking them 3x a day for over a year now and have helped me with vertigo and balance. I am so grateful for them and the cost is something I can afford.

Meclizine Hcl 12.5 Mg is a great OTC product to treat virtigo or motion sickness. I think a prescription is needed for the 25 Mg dosage. Instructions call for taking 2 tablets of the 12.5 Mg tablet per day as needed. The only side affect I experienced is dry mouth. Seems to work like a antihistamine. As with any medications be safe and do your research if you are using other prescriptions.
