Must have item.

This will be my second after several years with my first. Couldn't find one until Wal-Mart supplied it. Had to get it. Very satisfied.

Buy one!

I'm extremely happy with this tripod flashlight. I keep it on my computer station in order to illuminate things (CPU jacks, digital clock switches, etc) when the room grows dark. I'm sure I'll find a hundred other uses for it. Very sturdy construction. Highly recommended.

Versatile and a bright light

We had an old model of this flashlight and when it died after 10+ years [corroded battery glued itself to the metal housing], we looked for a replacement. * Bright light with a long battery life and only 3 small batteries. *Quickest way to get some useful light into a house with a power outage - because you can stand it up and swivel the head. (Hey, we live in tornado/severe thunderstorm land where this is common.) * Head that turns on its side adds a lot of versatility. *Tripod legs mean you can stand it up where you need it. Also great for maintenance projects in dark places. *With some creativity and cord you can hang it from the ceiling. Even from the top of a sturdy dome tent. So versatile! We were so glad we could get a new one that we actually bought 2 of them - put batteries in, stuffed them in a handy drawer, and we're good for emergencies. Highly recommended because of its versatility and long life.
