Well finished towel bar for a safer bathroom
This is a great sturdy, nice looking towel bar with ability to function as an assist bar as well. The towel bar is well made and nicely finished. The bar attaches solidly into studs with a 1/4 lag screw (provided) or you can attach to one stud and use the heavy duty drywall attachment on the other side if you don't have the blocking in the walls. The attachments are 24 inches on center. Not as large as an grab bar and only rated at 300 pounds compared to the required 500 pounds for a grab bar, but fits better with bath decor and is far sturdier than any standard towel bar. I've installed these in two of my bathrooms and highly recommend it (and the matching toilet paper holder / assist as well).
