Still The Best Phone on The Market!!

I preordered this phone, because I adore the Note Series. It's been worth its cost, but from my experience with the gorilla glass on the Note 7 I already knew that particular feature wasn't all it has been cracked up to be. The gorilla glass cracks just as fast or faster than whatever they were using before. I've never cracked it until the Note 7. You just have to keep a case on it if you want it to stay looking brand new. I usually use the Otter Box because I'm from Denver, Colorado.

Absolutely Superb..Bixby Is Awesome...Hands Down

I was going to contact Samsung this morning to relay my personal experience with Bixby (which is incredible), but a review might be better. I've read a lot of information about the Note 8, both before and after purchase. After having the phone for two weeks, I'm not sure what the criticisms are all about. 1. The fingerprint sensor is super easy to use. Much easier than having a sensor on the front of the phone, which does not fit the natural way you use a phone. You have to make an entirely unique gesture when the sensor is on the front. The back placement works with a natural way of holding the phone. 2. Bixby. Who doesn't love Bixby...seriously? I've used Google Assistant and Cortana. Bixby is far superior both in capability and ease of use. Friends who have iPhones prefer Bixby to Siri. I've read that people are complaining about her, and that Samsung is responding by changing her. An update has been sent out that allows users to disable the "Bixby Button," which is unfortunate because the button is brilliant (iPhone friends are jealous). I also read that Samsung is considering doing away with Bixby entirely based on the feedback. PLEASE DO NOT ELIMINATE BIXBY. I'm not sure who her critics are or what they expect her to do, but she is a gift. I own a small business, have a full-time job and maintain a household on my own. Bixby keeps me organized, and she makes my life easier. She does what I ask (even tasks that require several steps), and she is amazingly responsive to voice commands. That's all I ask of a device, and she is flawless. My only "Bixby Wish" is that Samsung develop a desktop app so I can use her everywhere. :-) 3. The design changes to the footprint are sexy...plain and simple. 4. Sound quality is great for a phone. Display quality is phenomenal. Samsung did an exceptional job with the Note 8 and Bixby. Hands down.

It's Back baby

I have been a Note owner since the original note and my last was a Note 5. Sadly my note 5 broke and since the Note7 was recalled went to the S7, this gave me a new appreciation for the Note series of phones. This phone has met and exceeded my expectations for what a note should be. Yes there is a couple things I would change like the fingerprint sensor and the bixby button, I hit that button constantly while trying to take a picture with the volume key, I will get use to it in no time I am sure, I find Bixby very useful and I enjoy trying new tasks with "Her", she still get some things wrong but she can be taught. The 6gb of ram makes this phone super responsive and so is the facial log in which I am sure go hand in hand with the ram. I like the expanded features of the pen and that I am able to take more than a page of Blackboard (use it a lot at work). The dual camera is very nice and the live focus really gives your picture a professional look to them and everyone I have taken a picture of with is really impressed and they end up showing off the pic to others haha. If you are a pen user you will not be disappointed same goes with the camera, if these features are not important to you then the S8+ might just be the phone for you.
