cheap plastic construction
I have been purchasing Delta products for 15 years now for installation into my customers bathroom remodels. I purchased this bar for my own personal bathroom and am very disappointed. Usually most Delta products were constructed of metal but this arm is not. It is plastic. I typically boast to customers about the quality of Delta products and about their guarantee. But I am not impressed with this particular piece and frankly disappointed in Delta for turning to plastic for the construction. It does not describe the material that it is made of in the description. It simply states that it is brass construction but I am not sure where. I have found that these types of fixtures tend to chip and peel the chrome finish over time. Sorry Delta I would not recommend this product.
