I just bought this surge protector to use with my computer. I had another model made by another company before, which seems to be doing great until it's on and off button switch began malfunctioning. Upon googling which surge protector to buy next to replace my old one, I stumbled upon this product Tripp lite, which to me at the time was something I wasn't familiar with at all, having used competing more well-known models for the most part. I have a lot of electronic gadgets around my Computer, like speakers, printer and of course my PC. Since I first used it, I have had no problem at all with any of those things. The on/off switch was also a lot better than my old surge protector which can't be turned-off anymore, no matter how many times I tried. So yep this is definitely a step up from my previous surge protector. Very happy with this purchase

Great surge protector

I switched out my surge protectors because the one I had was quite old. I like the new Tripp Lite because it has a lot of outlets which is great for people who have a lot of electronics they need to plug into them. It is also weighty and not flimsy like a cheap protector. I bought the Tripp Lite because it's been widely used at most work centers I've been in, and they have been very useful.

this thing is hooked up with my alienware laptop, HP laptop, new 3ds and my cellphone. it has 4 outlets designed for adopter chargers which is nice, and it also had $150,000 lifetime warranty if something goes wrong which is confidental. haven't found any con yet. love this product, would buy it again.
