So far, so good!

I've had the watch now for a few weeks and I really can say that I'm satisfied this really amazing watch. The watch itself is exactly what I was looking for... Practical and a bit rugged. It's refurbished but doesn't look like it was used...ever. The reason I give this 4 stars is for the reason that it disconnects from my phone for brief moment despite them being in close proximity. Not sure if it's the watch or my phone but does make me wonder. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.

It could be better

First, the pros: seems to be well built, not too heavy, great scratch resistant display, easy to use, can't tell that it was ever used, had a lot of great features and Alps to use with it. Now the cons: most notably the battery life is terrible. I have almost all of the apps and functions turned off that i can and it still barely lasts a day and by day i mean waking hours. It has to be charged every night and if the apps are turned on it'll need to be charged twice a day. my second con had to do with calorie burn calculation. I bought this to replace a Fitbit which has a great calculator. Samsung only uses an average hourly calorie burn and doesn't figure in heart rate and activity level so you really don't know how many calories you've burned which makes that useless in my opinion. It does track your exercise and the calories burned while doing it, but you can only view it in the app on your phone and you still have to do the math adding each exercise session to the average daily burn to at least get an idea. Honestly, if i hadn't thrown the box away so quickly i would have returned it and I currently have listed for sale online, but after wearing it for a few weeks I've gotten accustomed to it and it's quirks. My math skills have improved and who needs to have their sleep monitored anyway....?
