An 11,000 BTU heat pump is also included to take the chill out of the air when summer starts turning to fall. Rolling on casters, this unit offers cool comfort in any room, then stays put with an easy installation kit. Set your ideal temperature and keep it there with precise digital controls and an auto mode so the unit will turn on and off as needed to keep the climate consistent. A 24-hour timer is also included so you can create settings so that your living space is cool when you get home from work and school or at bedtime. Additionally, if there is a power outage or the unit gets shut off for any reason, this AC will automatically restart back to the temperature it was set to previously so it can begin cooling again as soon as possible. Forget the stress of finding replacement filters, use the easy tilt-out removable and washable filter in this unit for easy maintenance that will provide years of use. A full-function remote puts the thermostat at your fingertips so you can change the temperature from across the room.

Very “Cool”
I got the Arctic Wind portable air conditioner to use in my computer/craft room. This room gets warm with the heat from computers, heat guns, etc. I don't like the look of an air conditioner sticking out of the window, especially since this room faces the front of the house, so I thought I would give this portable air conditioner a try. Well let me say I should have gotten this a long time ago!! It keep the room cool and comfortable no matter what I'm doing. I love the remote control!! I can sit at the table and adjust the temperature, fan speed, etc. The directions were easy to follow and setup was simple. The window exhaust is small and sleek, it's hardly noticeable from outside. It can be a little noisy at high speed, but I usually have music on so this doesn't bother me and it's only on high until the room cools off, then you can lower the fan speed. I highly recommend this portable air conditioner!!!!

Great for one room to cool
Arctic Wind portable air conditioner Model 2AP7500A is a great unit to cool a large room. With 7500 BTU's it starts cooling as soon as you plug it in any outlet. No special wiring needed. You do need to vent it out a window and the company provides all the equipment you need for this. It is better than a window unit for me as I can roll it around to different rooms if needed. You just need to vent it out.
