You gotta pick lightly with this string set.

I have been using this string set for many, many years, now.As any guitar player would suspect with string gauges this light, you do have to pay close attention to how forceful you strum/pick and how finesse you fret the strings.Because the slinkiness of the strings, especially the high E which is a .008 gauge, the string(s) may not release easily from the pick if you pick hard and/or if you have to pick really fast.If you make the decision to use this set or any .008 set from any other guitar string company, it may take time to get used to.Proceed with patience.

Shipped promptlyExcellent quality control. Ive been using Ernie Ball strings and other products since the 70s. I have never received a string that wasnt smooth and consistent the entire length. I cant say that about the DAdarrio or Dunlop strings I have purchased

Light on gauge not on quality.

I had been using Ernie Ball's: Skinny Top Heavy Bottom, because thats how I like my women. However at the suggestion of Reverend Billy Gibbons two years ago I went with this light 8 gauge strings and I been loving them ever since.
