TrippLite stands behind their product.
We have the TrippLite supporting a TV, DVR, and DVD. In December we had a storm go through Atlanta and the next morning the TV no longer worked. Not knowing for sure if it was the powerstrip or not, I talked with TrippLite. They made arrangements for me to return the powerstrip and they sent me a replacement. Their research on the strip indicated that it has seen a lot of activity and approved the replacement TV for us. In this case, the TV is a smaller 32" and not one of those much bigger ones. I was kept up to date with each step in the process and today am depositing the check for the TV and the postage to send the damaged powerstip to TrippLite.

Great and unusual product
This (and the apparently identical SUPER8) and the 6-outlet SPIKESTIK are the only outlet strips on the market where the cord comes in at the opposite end from the power switch. You don't have to reach over all the cords to reach the switch! Very convenient.
