USB to Serial Port SAVED!

We were perplexed! We had a component that was a serial connection and our laptop does not have any serial ports!! We thought we were in deep trouble! Saw this Serial to USB on Walmart.com and checked around the web and found this was the best deal and the price was great too! No extra shipping charges! It was a lifesaver and works great!

OK on Vista, not on XP

I bought this to connect a GPS unit (with a outdated serial connector) to a USB port. On XP, I loaded up the drivers (the XP drivers) and tried to use it and it blue screened my computer. On Vista it works fine. So it does what I needed it to do, since I currently have two computers. But if I have to turn in my work laptop, I would be in trouble.
