These cutters are head and shoulders above Rigid.

I am a union pipefitter with 29 years experience. I have the 1/8" - 1 3/4", 1/4" - 2 5/8", and the imp cutters that go to 1 1/8". I have had them for over ten years. Before this Rigid was the only cutters I and most of my brothers used. Every year the Rigid cutters were made cheaper and worked worse. Any time one of the guys borrowed my cutters they loved them. Next thing I know they had them also. Great product from an American company. Local 13 Rochester New York says thanks.

Good cutter but

I bought this cutter because I was desperate to have cutter that works properly and this tool does exactly that ,my apprentice lost the pin that holds the wheel in place ,the problem is nobody can get me a replacement so ended up tossing a perfectly good tool for a tiny little piece of metal.

I love the product but

I bought these cutter a while ago. I feel they are good but the issue is parts even new cutting wheels. I'm always told. AHH! just buy a new one. A small parts kit of wheels and pins and screws would be nice with part numbers. I love the smallest cutter because they cram 20 pound of tubing in a 5" area. I'm in HVAC and fabrication area. They are very good for copper but I'll stick with ridge for the stainless steel side of the business. I found out Don't gorilla grip tighten these they work faster with a light hand and the cutters leaves a smaller burr on the inside of the tubing which makes it nice to clean up. Also I found when guys borrow my cutters they always gorilla grip the cutter over tightening and break my wheels. That's the reason I would like to buy a kit and have 5 or 6 extra wheels and parts.
