Powerful, seamless transition & easy to install.

When it came time to find a new inverter I proceeded to research all of them out there and, of course, I was looking to get the most bang for my buck. When I found the tripp lite brand I was most impressed with the fact that their warranty was for 2 years - especially, when you consider that this is for use in an RV! I felt that if they were willing to stand by their inverter for 2 years I could give it a whirl. I was not disappointed. The installation was easy, it just went right in place of the old unit. But, what I really liked was that it has a controller to monitor output level. It can be always on or just come on when a certain level of use is needed. I have had the unit for almost a year and waited to write the review until I could put it through its paces. The inverter/charger is more than adequate for our RV use. I cannot think of anything that I would add negatively except that the position of the hadrwireing for the battery connection is not easily accessible. It has been a worthwhile investment and a pleasure to use while camping. I love having all the power I need without having to run the generator. It's Perfect!

this replaced a very expensive RV unit

I replaced a very expensive RV Inverter/charger with this unit, 3 years ago. It has performed excellent. It is in my 40 Diesel motorhome, and everything works excellent. I highly recommend it to R-vers.

Replaced Once and down again

I actually purchased this product through my local RV show and just two years from the purchase I had to replace it again and now the replacement which also paid for has gone out. I wish I had the same experience as the others with this product.
