This wide legs sweatpants are very soft and tick. They would keep your child warm in this cold weather. Side pockets would help to keep hands warm or store some small items in it. My granddaughter is wearing size 10 to 12. This sweatpants are her size and they are little smaller than size. I would recommend to get bigger size otherwise they are great. Elastic waist.
