This worked so well on the hornets nest on the front window of the house. I'm definitely repurchasing to destroy the hornet nest in back of the house. Getting rid of the hornets may take 2 separate applications from 1 can. The first application kills all the hornets and destroys the nest. Use a second application if you see the hornets trying to build a replacement nest. After that second application, they won't even try to come back.
