This is my second pair of the Athens boot that I am reviewing. My first pair was probably 20 years ago. I've bought many boots since then and have decided to come back to this boot. I really don't know why I have chose any other boots than this boot now that I have this pair on. They are comfortable right out of the box. I like my boots pretty tight and I did have to wear them a little loose for the first few weeks to get them worn in but now I can tighten them as tight as I want them.

Best Christmas present!

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. His old ones were falling apart so bad, he had to epoxy them together again. He put these on and was immediately impressed with how comfortable they were. He works in all weather situations, so the waterproof feature was top priority. His workday is a bit easier to get through now :) 100% would recommend.

My husband works in a lot of water and mud and continued to come home with wet and cold feet from water getting in his boots. I purchased these boots about a month ago and he loves them. They are comfortable (he says they are the best fit he can remember ever having) and waterproof. My only concern is that they last longer than his other boots.
