I normally buy GV brand but they were out of stock, i cooked mine in some oil and lightly salted, they were so good and super crispy, way more than GV, definitely worth paying a little more if you love crispy tots. I dip mine in ranch or make chili cheese tots

Crispy and Brown Tater Tots

I put these in the air fryer and they get nice and brown. They are crispy when done. I keep these in stock all the time now. I usually cook two servings and keep one serving for the next day. I have been craving these. If I have meat left over from lunch, I put it with tater tots and it makes a nice meal. They do not taste greasy to me when done in the air fryer.

Crisps outside, nice cooked shredded inside

This, and crispy crowns, are my go-to potato side dish. Bake in convection oven to cook up crispy. Not as crispy as deep frying, but I don't care for oily food. While I sometimes buy crinkled fries (the moving air can get underneath), these bake up to be more crispy. I use a little bit of cooking spray on them to get salt and paprika to stick while baking. The family likes these bite-sized taters, too.
