This stainless steel stock pot is 18/8 stainless steel which maintains neutral to taste and color. The 3004 aluminum core of the 12 quart pot uniformly distributes heat to bottom and side walls. This stainless steel stock pot can be paired with the Vollrath Tribute pasta basket, (purchased separately)
