BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger Standard Edition PS3

When I purchased my PS3 this last November, I had to choose one game. Originally, I was going to choose Street Fighter. While I was doing research on Street Fighter, this game popped up as its competitor. I have to say that BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger wins hands down. Amazing game play and balance while each character has its own list of special moves. Each character has its own epic story mode to complete several times over for different endings, which I find the most fun. Playing only once through will leave you wanting to play it even more. It will leave you hanging until the very end! The characters themselves are hand-drawn 2D instead of Street Fighter's 3D models. Being a fan of different types of anime and with BlazBlue's attention to detail with each character, I more than welcomed the 2D over the 3D. The stage backgrounds are 3D and are very animated! The background music is amazing as well. The character voice acting is superb and can be set to English or original Japanese with English subtitles for that anime feel. The only downside is because of Street Fighter's long history, there are not as many available online game matches to be had.
