Not So Sterile from Sterilite
The product itself is OK. It tapers down pretty drastically from the top. So, you get less volume than you'd expect from something 2 feet tall. The packing tape on the top of the box fell off before it arrived. As a result of this the top wastebasket was pretty dirty. Since it's just plastic, I washed it out. But I wasn't expecting this PITA. Get some decent packing tape!

This is a nicely constructed and sturdy enough for the recycled papers I store in them, between pickups every 2 weeks in Omaha. I bought 1 (one) basket in store for $9.98, but this purchase report says it should have been a pack of 6 (six). Is this a misprint?

Great wastebasket! ( used for just recyclables)
People are rating it low because the bags they buy fit weird. Well, you knew the shape of the item when you bought it! I use it for recyclables only. I use a stainless steel metal flip-top can ( purchased online from Walmart) with the plastic pail inside that can be removed and cleaned. I actually use that for garbage in the kitchen only and put it right on the countertop it's great. We have a small kitchen and only 2 people in our house anyway. In the picture it looks oval. It is actually round.
