Record a Story: 'Twas the Night Before Christmas (Hardcover) by Clement Clarke Moore

I live in Southern California. My daughter-in-law and two granddaughters lived with me for over a year while my son was in Iraq. He is back and now stationed in Texas, so the girls are there with him. I talk to the little girls (15 months and almost 3) on the computer when I can, but they miss their ya-ya. So, I bought this book for them for Christmas. You have to have it completely flat and it helps to shine a light directly on the holes in the book while you are recording it. I used a flexible light I have, recorded it, locked the recording and sent it to them. I got to see their faces on camera when they opened it and they were so awe-struck over the book. The two of them listened all the way through the book, then each of them took the book and would open it to a page and when my voice came out they said "ya-ya"very reverently. Their mom had to take the book away from them a few times now cause they fight over the book! Guess I need to get them each one!
