Product details
Ranger Pro is a postemergence, systemic herbicide with no residual soil activity. It gives broad-spectrum control of many annual weeds, perennial weeds, woody brush and trees. It is formulated as a water-soluble liquid containing surfactant and no additional surfactant is needed or recommended. It may be applied through standard equipment after dilution and mixing with water or other carriers according to label instructions. Made by Monsanto, it controls most annual and perennial weeds and is also effective against woody brush and trees. Ranger Pro moves through the plant from the point of foliage contact and then into the root system. The herbicide breaks down naturally and wont wash or leach into the root zones of neighboring plants.

The price is a lot in one purchase to get started. It is a huge bottle of concentrate. The container is heavy to lift and pour into a sprayer container. (No pump attachment is with it and none offered to buy.) I pour into a large bucket that has a spout for pouring. I add water as directed then pour into the container with the spray attachment. This mixing takes effort, however, the spraying goes easily and the results are amazing! I spray twice a year with periodic touch ups. This frequency should slow down as the weeds become less and dropping less seeds. The landscaper suggests only once a year in the Spring for normal control.
