I first had it applied by my mechanic as part of a winter "package" but it was so effective that driving above 80 kp/h I didn't even need to turn my wipers on. Not that I suggest that for all circumstances but it increases the effective of your wipers by several orders of magnitude.

You need to apply this at least twice a year.I am so glad I had this stuck on the 401 in heavy down pour and I could see perfect, while other were having problems.I use it on all of my windows and mirrors.Works Great! snow or rain.
