These inexpensive traps are extremely effective ant deterrents for kitchens and other areas where you need to keep the chemicals separate from other things. These traps lure ants with the sweet contents containing poisons. The ants eat it and return to the nests with particles of the poison where it is eaten by, and kills, the entire colony. These are small enough to hide in tiny spots where pets cannot reach them, though it is wise to construct some type of barrier or cover for the trap and several inches around it to make it even more difficult for pets to come into contact with it.

no mess , No sprays, Just put them in a safe spot in case of animals. I put mine where I saw pesky ants around counter tops and behind garbage containers. You do need to know to use all in the box. in directions... At first I was wondering if it even worked because i still saw ants after 2 days . but then all ants disappeared! The hardest part was not killing them but I let them go to containers and take it back to their nest. Voila! Ant are gone. I will use it next year too. Lasts about 3 to 4 months.
