This thing is amazing. I am purchasing the hand tools as well. it slices thru dirt (wet clay!!!) and roots like butter. That also means it is verrrrry sharp, so be careful!!! Am using it to clear brambles/thickets from a new yard that really needs tilling by commercial product. It's going slowly because it's manual, but this spade is fabulous.

This thing is amazing!
I've been using this monster to dig out the huge Himalayan blackberry roots covering just about every square inch of an acre of my land! They are horrible, huge roots, and this guy, combined with a pick axe and hori hori knife, has been a lifesaver. It's heavy duty and can take on even the most gigantic, tenacious blackberry root balls.
