I love the design of the blinds; however, miss the cord to roll up the shade. The plastic clips used instead of the cord are too flimsey. and in the long run, will ruin the bamboo shade. I used blinds, shades, etc. with cords for decades. When not in use, the cord was wrapped around a hook to keep in place and away from children and pets. V. Myers

Hi Vernetta Please know that the reason for no cords is the direction of the Consumer Products Safety Committee and the Window Manufacturing Assoc. > in 2015 a code for child safety was initiated for all Window manufactures. All stock window blinds and shades are not allowed to have cords. Only custom shades are exclude from this code. The seal is called "Best for Kids". I hope this explains the situation. Cordless benefits and alternative system.

This bamboo blind has a new cordless way to keep the blind rolled. Clever idea using small round plastic discs with little hook type curves on each one. There are three in the delivery box. I wonder what happens after multiple usage...will they break? Didn’t come with replacements but it is a clean look and safer by eliminating the cord system.
