Rachael Ray™ Nutrish® Real Salmon & Brown Rice Recipe is made for cats of all sizes.Talk to your veterinarian about your cat's ideal weight and adjust your amounts accordingly.Cups to feed per dayAdult Cat Wt (lbs) Cups per day5 ½10 ¾15 1*Amounts are based on a standard 8 oz. dry measuring cup. This chart represents average recommended daily portions. You may need to feed slightly more or less, depending on your cat's activity level and overall fitness.Be sure to provide plenty of fresh, clean water daily. Close package tightly between feedings or store product in an airtight container to maintain freshness.Most cats eat many times during the course of a single day. A recommended feeding schedule for an adult cat is to offer half the daily amount for breakfast and another half for dinner. Vary the amount fed according to age, size and activity level of your pet. Kittens and pregnant or lactating females should have food available throughout the day, so split their total daily amount into several meals. The total daily amount for kittens is approximately one-quarter to one and one-quarter cups. For lactating females, feed up to three times the amount shown for their non-pregnant weight.Transition instructions: Because Rachael Ray™ Nutrish® may offer different ingredients than your cat is used to, it may take up to ten days for your cat's system to become acclimated. This is a great cat food and I will continue to buy it, but I don't think it's worth nearly double the Purina Friskies brands like Surfin' %26 Turfin. However, the cat overlords demand variety so I occasionally but it. If it went up much higher, I would no longer buy it.

Good Choice for Cat with Chicken Allergies
Only cat food I can find at walmart for a reasonable price that doesn't contain chicken meal, by-product or protein of some sort. One of my four cats is allergic to chicken protein and it has been a STRUGGLE to find a cat food with no chicken protein in it. My cat suffered from rodent ulcers on her lips as an allergic reaction while I tried to firgure out the cause, and finally switching to a product with no chicken resolved it. Also, super happy all my cats seem to really like the smell of it and are excited to eat it. Definitely smells like fish, which I think is good. I would love it if walmart would carry the bigger 14 pound bags of food in store so I didn't have to have it shipped, but at least they have the 6 pound bags in store for if shipping is delayed. Please, please, pleeease don't stop carrying this food. It really is the only reasonable one I can afford that doesn't contain chicken protein <3
