I did a lot of label studying, I wanted healthy ingredients without all the BS. I noticed all the "natural compared to store brand" commercials never picked out Rachel Ray and since I love her cooking shows I decided to study her dog food! After a thorough evaluation I decided to give it a try with our Rottweiler Catahoula mix. WOW ... I am definitely impressed!! No upset stomachs or runny stools because I didn't transition properly (bad Mommy!) . He's eating his whole portion (daily amount split in two for AM %26 PM feedings) at the time of serving! Now, a month later, his coat is shinier, his eyes are brighter, his energy is higher (heaven help me!) and his stools are consistent! When the family came for the last outdoor cooking Sunday everyone commented on how he seemed bigger and fuller than any of the last year. I am very happy I chose Rachel Ray's Big Life dry dog food for my big guy and it seems he is too!! :)

Excellent food for even the pickiest eaters

This is excellent dog food. I had a picky eater Husky who started with this first. I needed a great tasting dog food with healthy benefits and this fit the bill. Huskies are always picky eaters but he lived this food. When he passed and we adopted a new dog, we started him on this right away. His coat is shiny and he eats every bit of it. There are hard and soft bites in the bag so they get the best of both worlds. Plus Rachael Ray donates to excellent causes and that's a plus too.
