I've been through plenty of stainless steel tumblers over the years, and while they keep things cold, I always hated that metallic tang that ruined the flavor of my coffee or water. I am giving it five stars because it solves the one major issue I had with these types of cups while still being tough enough for my daily routine. The ceramic interior is the standout feature here. It makes a massive difference because my drinks actually taste the way they are supposed to, which is a huge win when I'm out with my daughters, ages 11 and 13, and we're spending the day on the road. It keeps ice solid for an impressive amount of time, and the handle is sturdy and fits my hand well without feeling flimsy. The leak-resistant lid is another highlight. It isn't just a marketing claim; I’ve knocked this thing over in the truck, and it didn't turn the floor mat into a swamp. The only real downside is the sheer size of it. It’s a beast of a cup, and while it fits in most standard cup holders, it can feel a bit top-heavy when it’s filled to the brim. It’s a lot of weight to lug around if you’re just going for a quick walk. Regarding the price, it’s a solid value. You can find cheaper knock-offs, but they won't have the ceramic lining or the build quality of an RTIC. Paying a little extra to avoid that metal taste and to get a lid that actually seals is worth every cent. It’s a rugged piece of equipment that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I researched many tumblers before I settled on the ceramic lined RTIC. The two things I like most about this cup is, 1) no metal taste since it's ceramic lined and 2) keeps drinks cold for 10 hours. It has a wide straw that encourages me to drink more and it holds a lot.
