We recommend disinfecting your nectar feeders every three to five days, or more frequently if you notice your nectar has become cloudy. Soak all parts in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Use a bird feeder brush to brush away grime inside the feeder.

This is my fifth try at finding a feeder that does not leak and one that has a shallow reservoir. If you get a feeder with a deep reservoir, you will be wasting a lot of food. Side note: I don't have dozens of HB's visiting per day, so in my case, the amount they drink is nominal. My learned lessons: no matter what the feeder claims, if it has a top loading food system, IT WILL DRIP. The bowl style keeps the food in the dish, where it belongs.

We purchased this feeder for use at one of our deck railing planter boxes and it has exceeded our expectations brilliantly! For those interested in "planting" this feeder the stand tube is good quality copper that will last a lifetime! It also comes with accessories to hang the feeder (including a copper arm from which to hang it) as well as a clear plastic bracket with suction cups for on-window mounting. We live along the shores of the Pacific in Western Washington and have been amazed at how well this stands up to our frequently rainy and windy weather. An excellent good quality feeder.

3-In-1 Hummingbird Feeder
We put this hummingbird feeder on the window in front of the computer where we can watch the feeding activity. The hummingbirds seem to like this feeder over the other feeders we have. We are very satisfied with this feeder. The only problem is the yellow flowers seem to break after a while in the Florida weather. I buy extra feeders to exchange the broken flowers with a new one.
